
Anne McKee is a violinist based in central Maine. She holds a Master of Music degree from Boston Conservatory and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bowdoin College. She currently performs as concertmaster of Augusta Symphony, principal second violinist of Colby Symphony, and section violinist of the Bangor Symphony Orchestra. She is especially passionate about chamber music and enjoys concertizing with colleagues around New England, including recent collaborations with Music From Salem and Halcyon Quartet.
Anne is currently on faculty at Bay Chamber Music School, New England Suzuki Institute, and Pineland Suzuki School, where she serves as Assistant Artistic Director and leads Capital Strings, an advanced student string ensemble. Whether it’s through performing or teaching, building community through music is what drives her musical career.
